Physcian Relationship Manager Full Time Days JFK Memorial Hospital - John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital - Indio, CA

The Physician Relationship Manager is responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, community groups, and other potential referral sources in the hospital’s target markets. The position primarily focuses on developing and improving hospital referral relationships with physician in the service area, with the goal of maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services. Other responsibilities include the following; strategically planning and implementing visits to physicians, emphasize sales objectives based on market assessments, researches physicians. Other duties are as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field communications preferred.


• Master’s degree is a plus.


• A minimum of three years’ experience in business development, marketing, sales or public relations.


• Previous healthcare is preferred with a heavy emphasis on patient volume growth, knowledge of physician recruiting and hospital based practices including managed care/reimbursements.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly publication oriented.


• Must portray a professional manner and be able to win confidence and support from internal and external customers, including physicians.


• Strong project management skills. A candidate must be multi-task oriented and be able to meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashion. Must have knowledge of computer programs, graphics design, and advertising experience.


• Some evening and weekends are required based on involvement in community organizations and media-related issues.
