This position requires:

A big part of this position is ensuring the safety and security of our event guests while they are attending weddings, parties, proms, etc on our premises. The ability to calmly and respectfully interact with these guests is paramount.


When not attending to our party and/or hotel guests, there will be periodic stretches of time when you will be responsible to repair, paint, maintain, clean, set up and otherwise help in other areas of the organization.


The hotel security staff performs tasks such as the following:


  • Respond to individual guest needs and concerns.

  • Patrol property, both inside and outside.

  • Respond to complaints and calls for assistance.

  • Check security locks and alarms on doors and stairwells.

  • Escort guests and/or employees as needed.

  • Monitor surveillance cameras.

  • Write and submit written reports.

  • Work cooperatively with local law enforcement.

  • Assist with repairing simple maintenance issues that occur on the overnight shift

  • Active involvement in risk management and the hotel’s safety committee

Wage range is $13-$15 per hour depending on experience, skills and knowledge .

JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, community groups, and other potential referral sources in the hospital’s target markets. The position primarily focuses on developing and improving hospital referral relationships with physicians in the service area, with the goal of increasing the selection of the Tenet facility/Facilities for inpatient and outpatient services by physicians who utilize the Tenet facility/facilities and those who also select non-Tenet facilities.


PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for mining data to find potential physicians and referral sources that currently are not choosing to refer to our facility but have opportunity to do so. Strategically implement strategies to develop relationships with these referral sources and educate them on the quality of our services with hopes of gaining their referrals. Will be required to maintain a minimum number of visits on a weekly basis.

  • Responsible for strategically planning and implementing visits to physicians who do not select our facilities, physician office staffs and other potential referral sources throughout the primary and secondary markets.

  • Report on the activity level and outcomes of activities on a regular basis.

    • Provide intelligence to appropriate hospital departments as to process improvements requested or suggested by physicians.

    • Thoroughly research possible referral sources to understand where and why they refer patients to our facility and other facilities. Works with key department members to implement operational fixes that may be needed to better serve patients.

    • Creates a targeted growth plan which includes a detailed list of referral sources to be contacted to achieve said growth plan.

    • Assist in the development of service line marketing plans.

    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all market dynamics as they relate to physicians and other possible referral sources, and the competitive environment.

    • Serve as a resource for the hospital in the development and implementation of physician recruitment and retention plans for the facilities and for physician outreach in the facility’s service areas.

    • Monitor referral source feedback for the purpose of identifying process improvement opportunities. Suggest innovative ideas that will help achieve growth goals and implement those ideas, once approved by leadership.

    • Document all activities and issues in appropriate PRM tool. Manage issue resolution or coordinate with hospital physician Liaison or appropriate director to resolve issues and communicate the resolution to appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:

Bachelors degree in Marketing/Sales or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience


Preferred Education:
Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare


Minimum Experience:


At least 5 years of experience in a related field such as physician relations, network development, medically-related sales, or a similar role in a hospital or other healthcare setting


Other Requirements:


  • Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work under independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to travel.

Qualifications:

  • The ability to work split shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

  • Proven track record reliability, good timekeeping skills, integrity and honesty

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and some lifting of bar supplies is required

The role of an Animal Control Officer is to provide enforcement of Riverside County ordinances, city municipal codes and California State laws by patrolling jurisdictions overseen by Riverside County. When violations are found, the Animal Control Officer issues citations as needed. The Animal Control Officer also receives and investigates complaints and reports from the public and other agencies regarding stray, dangerous, unwanted or improperly controlled animals and animal cruelty cases.


Additionally, the Animal Control Officer also serves as a public relations representative for the County and is expected to consistently provide the highest level of customer service even in difficult circumstances. It is the duty of the Animal Control Officer to uphold the law while recognizing their responsibility as a public servant to the constituents of Riverside County and ensuring the safety of themselves, the public and the animals.

Review and revise DAS ACO policy and procedures; assist in training of new animal control staff on all relevant DAS, CHA and County policy; prepare reports, keep records and complete forms regarding animal control violations and transactions.


Respond to high-profile complaints from the Board of Supervisors or contract city; work cooperatively with other law enforcement groups when joint action is required; speak at schools and other community groups concerning animal control public services; investigate and inspect County circuses, fairs and animal shows, as required.

Knowledge of: Techniques and procedures for the safe, humane, and efficient handling of animals; laws and ordinances governing the licensing, treatment, and impounding of animals; the symptoms of common animal diseases; common breeds of domestic animals and appropriate practices for their care and feeding.


Ability to: Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relations with the public and other employees; handle animals humanely and safely; discharge firearms safely and accurately; read and comprehend laws and regulations pertaining to animal control; present evidence and testify in court cases; clearly explain animal control procedures and regulations to the public; exercise tact and good judgment in dealings with the public; recognize symptoms of rabies and other animal diseases; ability to keep statistical records.
