California PsychCare, Inc. PALM DESERT branch has an immediate opening for the position of Administrative Assistant & Quality Assurance Representative (Part Time or Full-Time)

The Administrative Assistant & Quality Assurance Representative serves as the communication hub for the organization and handles all requests for office and clinical personnel in collaboration with the main office admin. He/she provides administrative support in the areas of Reception, Purchase of Services (POS), Progress Reports and Assessments, Billing, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources but not limited to other delegated tasks as needed.


We are looking for a very organized individual who feels comfortable in a position with minimal supervision and is able to complete the tasks assigned in a timely manner, with professionalism and high attention to details. A background in customer services, phone and e-mail etiquette is highly desirable since communication with families, clinicians, school representatives, insurance companies and Regional Centers is part of the daily company operation. Job Requirements


  • Bilingual (Spanish)**

  • S. Diploma and AA Degree in progress

  • 2 Years of experience managing an office

  • Types 40 WPM

  • Must be self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate & able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must present a professional demeanor, attire, phone/email etiquette, be highly organized, detailed oriented.

  • Must have excellent time management skills, understand sense of urgency, and able to multitask.

  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Must be able to schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments with staff and families in a timely and professional manner.

  • Must be comfortable working under pressure.

  • Must maintain professional boundaries, professional composure, professional attire, and work as a team.

  • Politely interact with individuals and families who may be uncooperative, aloof or upset.

  • Must effectively communicate with others (clients, family members, agency staff, and internal departments within the company) orally, by phone and e-mails utilizing professional etiquette, courtesy and provide excellent customer services.

  • Must accept, follow, and implement direction from agency representatives and be able to prioritize tasks depending on urgency and as delegated by upper management.

  • Must be creative, spontaneous, excited, and animated in your gestures, facial expression, and voice intonation.

  • Must maintain professional attire.

  • Must have a telephone and reliable method to return phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours.

  • Must be able to return emergency calls within 2 hours.

  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs without assistance from another adult.
