CNA/ Special Education - Helping Children with Autism - LeafWing Center - Palm Springs, CA

The LeafWing Center is currently hiring in the Palm Springs area. Work as a Behavior Therapist helping children diagnosed with Autism and Apply Now!!

Behavior Therapist Position Details:

• The pay scale is $12.00 – $16.00 dollars per hour depending on education, qualifications and practiced ABA experience under the supervision of a BCBA, while working with clients with autism.


• Work hours are flexible and position hours are defined as on a “work as needed” basis and after School.


• Pay schedule is 2 times per month


• Behavior Therapists travel to wherever treatment is provided, whether it’s in the client’s home, school/camp, or to the office.


• LeafWing Center pays for drive time and mileage while working.


• The Behavior Therapist provides 1:1, in-home, in-school behavioral treatment to preschool through middle school-aged children.


• Behavior Therapists work as part of a team of therapists for each client


• Teams consist of Behavior Therapists and a Program Supervisor

LeafWing Center

• Utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis, the scientific study of behavior


• Works with children with Developmental Disabilities, more specifically children diagnosed with Autism.


• Provides a comprehensive program that addresses: behaviors, academics, cognitive, language, self-help, socialization, play, etc.


• Provides training to work as a Behavior Therapist

Ideal candidates must be patient, excellent with children, possess good social skills, be professional, be tolerant and empathetic towards people, have a natural desire to want to help children with special needs, have a clean driving and criminal record.
