Anka is looking for a dedicated and reliable Clinician to join our team in the city of Indio!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Rancho Desert is a Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) Program for individuals experiencing an acute behavioral health crisis. Unlike programs that are held in a psychiatric unit or hospital-like facility, Rancho Desert is held in a natural home setting in order to better engage the individual in the recovery process. Our clients participate in a highly structured recovery program and work with a team of specialists who help them resolve the behavioral or emotional issues associated with their crisis and give them the tools necessary to help them work through future challenges and re-integrate back into the community.


ABOUT THE POSITION: Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Clinical Services, the LCSW/Clinical Administrator is responsible for program services and programming offered to participants. Responsible for implementation of program and all clinical services offered to participants referred to the program. Responsible for quality assurance of charting, documentation of all services, and provision of services.


This is an exempt full-time position, eligible for benefits after 30 days of employment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide input and consultation to Program Administrator in the hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and separation of staff.

  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor individual treatment plans with consumers and other treatment agencies and individuals to include intake, assessment, community functioning evaluation, and discharge planning. Assure cultural/ linguistic issues are addressed.

  • Responsible for facilitating clinical training and specialty groups for participants referred to the program.

  • In coordination with PA, assist in the day to day smooth operation and provision of services to participants (family meetings, groups, individual psychotherapy, psychiatric services, and post care referrals.)

  • Attend clinical meetings, coordination meetings, and staff meetings with leaders and clinical case manager.

  • Possess knowledge of psychotropic medications (use and side effects).

  • Participate in updating of treatment plans, assist clients with self-administration of medications, monitor and report any changes or side effects etc.

  • Thorough knowledge of the DSM-IV as a basis for diagnosis.

Education Required: LCSW, LMFC, or Clinical Psychologist licensed by state of California, current and in good standing.


Experience: Minimum of three years working with mentally ill/ substance abuse population.


Other Requirements: Valid California Driver’s License in good standing with proof of current auto insurance. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Med/TB
