Assistant Golf Professional - Andalusia Country Club - La Quinta, CA
Position Overview:
This Assistant Golf Professional assists the Head Golf Professional with the daily golf shop operations, including but not limited to: POS system, merchandising, inventory, tracking rounds of golf, tournament operations, club repair, handicaps, and communication to the membership.
Expectations:
Have a pleasant, consistent attitude for great customer service. Handle Tasks with a sense of urgency. Promote golf events through word of mouth. Maintain a credible golf game. Maintain a fundamental knowledge of the game and rules of golf. If not already a PGA Member, actively work towards Membership. Great communication skills.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a golf shop. Must be a Class A Member or actively working towards Membership.
Compensation:
$14/hour. Additional Income includes, lessons (upon successful completion of Level 1, if not completed), club repair and overtime.
Employee Medical, Vision and Dental after first full month, Meals (one per work day).
