Line Service Technician - Aviation - Desert Jet - Thermal, CA

Have you always been interested in aviation but were not sure how to break into the industry? Well here is the perfect opportunity! Line Service Technicians are the direct point of contact for the execution of job related responsibilities of servicing all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft that come through the facility.

Duties and responsibilities include;

Aircraft Towing, Marshalling, Fueling and Servicing

Fuel Handling, Movement, Quality Control, Disposal and Reporting

Assisting passengers and crew with baggage, cars, and cargo, as needed

Facility Maintenance and upkeep

Wing Walking

Customer Service with Pilots and Passengers

Technicians have the opportunity provide Desert Jet Center’s WOW experience for the customer. This is a fun, hands-on position. If you are self-motivated and require minimal supervision, this may be the right fit for you.

QUALIFICATIONS;

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required (1 year of aviation experience desired but not required).

CREDENTIALS: Valid California Driver’s License required with clean driving history. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work outside in all types of weather (extreme heat, occasional rain, etc.).

Ability to run, crouch, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Controlled exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

This position will requires weekday and weekend availability, mornings and/or night shifts.

This position requires employee to be flexible in weekly schedules.

This position may require employee to stay after hours for arriving/departing aircraft.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
Starting pay is $12
