We are looking for strong service oriented Licensing Title Clerks who will be responsible for the preparation of legal transfer documents for the DMV for New and Used Vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare title documents. Process and apply for duplicate titles when needed.
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
- Review and process paperwork as required by state law related to the titling of completed vehicle transactions ensuring their completeness and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date on title regulations by attending seminars.
- Attend meetings with Office Manager and Controller regarding title work issues and status of title paperwork.
- Clean DMV schedules.
To qualify for this position:
- Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
- DMV experience a must.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm.
- One year minimum general office experience.
- Automotive accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to use Inventory Control Software, internet, Microsoft Office Products
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Need ability to move around the dealership. The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Work is performed at a desk in an office setting .
