Food and Beverage Supervisor (AM Shift) - Embassy Suites Hotel & Spa - La Quinta, CA

UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY! Embassy Suites La Quinta has a unique position open for an experienced food and beverage leader. This position is responsible for the breakfast and lunch shifts.

Our Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees our complimentary cook-to-order breakfast operation, which is an Embassy Suites brand standard, and then takes over as server and bartender during the lunch shift.

This is a great position for someone with some F&B supervisory experience and also affords the opportunity to supplement your hourly wage with tips during the lunch shift .

Hourly wage is $12.75 per hour DOE to start. This position is eligible for tips during the lunch shift.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supervise the daily operation of the breakfast and lunch service.


• Anticipate guests’ needs, wherever possible, in order to deliver exceptional quality of service and, in turn, guest satisfaction.


• Promote a helpful and professional image within the department, ensuring full cooperation and communication is give to team members in all departments.


• Support the F&B Management team in ensuring effective training is given and maintained within the department and in line with company standards.


• Ensure implementation and compliance with the Company and Hotel audit and accounting requirements.


• Maximize all sales opportunities.


• Follow Company and Hotel policy relating to guest comments and complaints.


• Attend training and departmental meetings, as required.


• Cover shifts as needed.

Experience/Knowledge

• Proven experience of working in a restaurant either at supervisory level or previous experience in a senior server role.


• Previous experience supervising a small team


• Display flexibility and commitment to working patterns and shifts to meet business demands.

Salary: $12.75 /hour

• Lead Server or F&B Supervisor: 1 year
