Material Loader Yard - Entery Level - Sepulveda Building Materials - Indio, CA






Material Loader-Yard – Entry level positionJob Purpose: Company is looking for a full-time material loader/customer service person for building material company. Must be able to effectively interact with customers, Bilingual Spanish, have some forklift experience.Duties for: outside (Material Loader)


  • Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.

  • Directs customers by escorting them to around the building material yard.

  • Inspects equipment which includes fluid levels, tires, gauges, lights, etc.

  • Driving many types of equipment, i.e.; forklifts skip loaders, and small trucks.

  • Loads and unloads the firewood trucks, company and customer vehicles

  • Stacks and palletizes the firewood.

  • Assembles barbecues, wheelbarrows, and saws.

  • Receive materials off of truck, signs for goods received and verify receipts.

  • Loads and stacks brick, block, cement, railroad ties, stepping stones, car stops, five (5) gallon containers, storage boxes, pipe, steel, and any other products sold.

  • Cleans bathrooms, windows, floors, batch plant and trailers, and company vehicles.
