JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible to receive all items for the F & B department including but not limited to, goods and food in an efficient and economical manner following established policies and procedures in processing and expediting purchase orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

• Provides excellent Guest Service


• Compares contents of items being received to shipping documents or bill-of lading.


• Moves and rotates product for proper storage and use.


• Maintains storage areas for control and protection of product.


• Follows established procedures to report discrepancies


• Assists kitchen staff with ordering of products

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma, GED or relevant experience.


• Basic computer skills required


• Must have warehouse experience.


• Restaurant, food knowledge preferred.


• Food Handlers Card required

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
