We invite you to join our Desert Advanced Imaging team as a Scheduler/Pre-Processor. This per-diem career opportunity has a Monday – Friday schedule and is located at our high volume outpatient practice in Palm Desert, CA. In this medical office position you’ll get to:

Answer phones and guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.

Analysis daily workflow.

Input/update patient information in our medical system.

Perform insurance verifications and authorizations.

Cross-train and help in other departments if needed.

Occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage if needed.

Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We’re looking for dependable and professional candidates with 1-2 years of insurance verification and medical scheduling experience, computer skills, a High School Diploma, medical terminology knowledge, and working knowledge of insurances (PPO’s, HMO’s and state funded insurances). Applicants will also need the ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to exhibit empathy toward callers without appearing overly solicitous. Bilingual language skills are a plus!
