Warehouse Person Wanted - Auto Parts Distributor - Indio, CA

Busy, growing distribution firm seeks responsible, reliable warehouse person. A background check will be required.

Responsibilities
–Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and put them in the proper location on the shelves
–Check off merchandise as it is received
–Take inventory periodically and correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet
–Assist in pulling parts during busy times
–Clean up inside/outside the warehouse
–Work with stock manager to address any problems with orders
–Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked

Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Ability to read and understand numbers, ability to follow directions, 1-2 years stocking/warehouse experience, good teamwork skills in working with individuals in own department and other departments, familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
