What does your day-to-day look like?
Within this position, you will be performing primary accounting functions for the Center including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, cash management, and standard reporting. You will also be in charge of:
- Managing accounts payable compliance at the property.
- Creating RMU tenant entries, billings (rent, percentage rent, fines and security deposits) and record cash receipts and sales in AR software.
- Creating RMU tenant entries, billings (rent, percentage rent, fines and security deposits) and record cash receipts and sales in AR software.
- Confirming new vendor W-9 vendor are properly set-up in the payables system and entering approved invoices into payables system to generate checks.
- Administering appropriate pay codes outside of work time, completing approved work hour entries when needed, and maintaining associated back-up.
- Assisting General Manager and Facilities Superintendent in the preparation and development of annual expense, revenue operating budgets, inventory control and quarterly forecasts.
- Maintaining local petty cash funds and reconciling accounts. Maintaining records of financial transactions and preparing deposits daily and ensuring deposits get to the bank.
- Maintaining an Excel spreadsheet for center credit card purchases and reconciling monthly the center credit card. Maintain the office supplies stock and re-order supplies as necessary.
- Manage Gift Card & Ticketmaster Programs.
- Serve as one of the primary contacts for tenants and customers who come to the Management Office.
- May coordinate meetings for Facilities Superintendent, including: tenant preconstruction, contractors, local officials, vendors, and center staff.
- May coordinate meetings for the Marketing & Sponsorship Director as this will also become a responsibility of the FA when covering for the Management Assistant while on break or leave
The ideal candidate must have…
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with financial management software
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Requirements for this position are…
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable experience is required
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience
