Do people you know describe you as a “people person?” Excellent, because the Hyatt Palm Springs is looking for just that dynamic personality to greet our guests at our Front Desk… SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Front Desk Agent greets guests, registers them, answers questions, sorts mail and messages and answers incoming calls to the hotel. In a Concierge role, this position makes entertainment, restaurant, transportation reservations and makes local recommendations. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 6 months or more experience working at a Front Desk is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. As the Hyatt Palm Sprinsg is run 24/7, we need employees that have few schedule restrictions. Basic computer and math skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Position requires ability to regularly stand, use hands, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or control and talk or hear. Must be able to life and/or move up to 25 pounds.
