Job Description: To meet Omni’s standards in HR administration, assist in all office functions, training, and provide customer service to our Associates.
Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Facilitates and organizes associate trainings with the assistance from ASC/Operations team
- Greets and pre-screens applicants.
- Administers I-9 process and maintains that they are current.
- Assists in the coordination of the exit interview process.
- Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
- Assists department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
- Coordinates associate events schedule.
- Creates associate communication pieces – postings, newsletter, announcements, invitations, presentations, bulletin boards.
- Prepares new employee files and new hire paper work
- Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files
- Maintains file organization adhering to file retention laws
- Coordinates all PTO, vacation, other time off requests with Payroll.
- Maintains ASC office cleanliness and organization, including maintaining office supplies.
- Provides administrative support to human resources function as needed (e.g. correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry)
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be MS Office literate
- Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have a teamwork mind set and have initiative
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must meet grooming and attendance standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, handle employee matters effectively and employee inquiries with sensitivity
