Make Up Artists/Beauty Advisors play a key role in–

• Increasing sales and growing the business;


• Enhancing the retailer’s image as a high-end store; and


• Establishing and maintaining retailer as the destination store for our prestige brand, Laura Mercier cosmetics.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist customer in doing facial and makeover consultations


• Attend training classes and maintain product knowledge awareness


• Conduct product demonstrations to model selling and customer service techniques


• Develop and maintain own clientele, including phone contact, letters, and phone calls


• Drive sales and assure that all goals are being met


• Focus brand sales by line/resource


• Is an expert about merchandise/line – the features, advantages, and benefits


• Operate P.O.S. register and report sales accurately


• Recommend proprietary credit to all customers, in keeping with retailer’s standards

Requirements for the Position:

• Artistry experience in a retail environment required


• Excellent communication skills


• Independent and self-motivated


• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines


• High energy, driven and a commitment to succeed

Education and/or Experience:

• Proven track record of cosmetic sales


• Proficient in Microsoft Office
