Job Objective: The Clinical Educator’s role is multi-faceted, it provides on-unit and department-specific education, informal and formal education to staff, including Joint Commission education and assists Clinical Directors and Clinical Managers in ensuring staff competency, ongoing skills assessment, and opportunities for growth. Education Required: BSN Licensure Required: CA RN Experience Required: 5 Years Case Management Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required: Demonstrates leadership ability and collaborative skills. Demonstrates effective problem-solving behavior and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrates self-motivated behavior in order to independently complete job responsibilities and individual assignments while supporting the needs of the entire work unit. Knowledge of Case Management performance improvement and safety goals. Ability to teach effectively and uses dynamic and unique approaches to engage target audience. Ability to demonstrate implementation skills in accordance with EMC Standards of Care, policies, procedures, and Nurse Practice Act. |
