Transgender Patient Advocate (Palm Springs - Sunrise) - Eisenhower Medical Center - Rancho Mirage, CA





Job Objective: A brief overview of the position. The Transgender Patient Advocate fosters the relationship between Transgender patients and the medical and administrative staff of Eisenhower Medical Center. Other duties may include training other staff members and explaining types of care and services their facility offers to Transgender patients and their families.

Reports to Carl Enzor, RN – Chief Administration Officer

Supervises N/A

Ages of Patients Adolescents thru Seniors

Blood Borne Pathogens N/A

Qualifications Education Required: High School Graduate or GED Preferred: College Degree Licensure/Certification Required: N/A Preferred: N/A Experience Required: 3 Years of experience related to Transgender Culture, Medical Transition (all aspects) and related resources.
