Medical Assistant - Primary Care Clinic (Argyros Health Center) - Eisenhower Medical Center - Rancho Mirage, CA
Job Objective: Works under the supervision of the Medical Director and Nurse Manager. Assists with escorting patients to exam rooms and preparing them. Performs vital signs on patients, captures patient complaints and documents on patient medical record. Assists nurses and physicians with examinations and diagnostic testing. Cleans exam rooms and ensures that rooms are appropriately stocked with supplies. Provides computer registration, discharge of patients and takes payments. Answers the telephone and takes and forwards messages. Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Licensure/Certification Required: Medical Assistant certificate, BLS. Experience Required: Previous experience in physician office setting. |
