Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head House Person, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • Consistently offer professional, engaging and proactive service while supporting fellow Colleagues

  • Treat each and every Guest as a unique individual

  • Anticipate Guests’ needs with thoughtful and personal touches

  • Resolve Guest problems and never say “no” without offering an alternative

  • Be an ambassador for the Brand, Hotel, Community and Colleagues

  • Be guided by Fairmont core values; respect, integrity, teamwork and empowerment

  • Attend morning shift briefings to receive all current communications

  • Deliver robes to Guests as directed

  • Ensure the correct placement of two (2) robes in each arrival and departure room

  • Clean and ensure coffee makers are in working order

  • Deliver two (2) bottles of water to arrival and departure rooms and ensure stay overs are replenished daily

  • Clean coffee mugs and carafes and ensure an adequate stock is placed in floor closets

  • Ensure there is adequate new stock of robes in storage

  • Assist with robe inventory

  • Assist with the receipt and storage of Housekeeping stock on a daily basis

  • Assist on guest floors as directed by the Head House Person

  • Complete current status of robes and reports at the end of the day

  • Deliver and pick up product for the Fairmont Fit program

  • Assist Head House Person with delivery of Housekeeping supplies

Qualifications:

  • Previous Housekeeping experience is an asset

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Good knowledge of all facilities in the hotel and surrounding area

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work well under pressure

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling anywhere from 2-6 hours a day

  • Does not lift weights exceeding 25 lbs

  • Requires constant repetitive motion
