Villas Promotional Representative - Westin Properties - Palm Desert, CA

The Villas Promotional Representative (Resort Concierge Specialist) generates leads for the Marketing Team by engaging resort guests, promoting concierge services and leveraging approved lead activators, driving guests to the concierge desks. The Promo Rep also promotes the Westin Mission Hills Resort restaurants, spa, golf, and other on-property amenities and activities, maximizes guest interactions and provides exceptional customer service.

Essential Functions:
Generate leads for Marketing teams by engaging guests throughout the villa and resort properties.

Build strong rapport with guests, direct guests to concierge desk, deliver knowledge of on-site amenities/activities and the local area.

Promote on-site restaurants, spa, golf, and other activities provided by the Resort. Promote and participate in special events offered at the Resort.

Work closely with Resort Fun teams, Food & Beverage Teams, Spa, and Golf.

Provide professionalism and positive team culture by following up on all guest requests in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with fellow Starwood associates and outside vendors/merchants.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of the local area is required.

Flexible schedule, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry small boxes of up to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extensive periods of time, predominately outside where temperatures can reach 120+ degrees.
