Concierge/Marketing Rep WMH - Westin Properties - Palm Desert, CA

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Through professional persuasion and relationship-building skills, procure and properly position prospective purchasers to attend a sales presentation (tour).
  


• Coordinate appointments and arrivals with the Sales office and tour desks, facilitating a seamless guest experience.
  


• Provide information and concierge services to all guests and/or Villa owners, including but not limited to area information, directions, attractions and tourist information, reservations services, hotel inquiries and resolving guest issues.
  


• Provide creative suggestions for improvements to programs to current marketing efforts in order to maximize efficiency in sales and guest/owner relations.
  


• Provide pre-arrival and arrival services as outlined in servicing standards provided by management.
  


• Develop positive relationships with Resort Operations staff, management, and team mates, adhering to protocol standards as established by resort management.
  


• Maintain minimum productivity standards as defined.
  


• Assist with any reasonable job requests.
  

Requirements

• Previous hotel, concierge, marketing, and/or direct sales experience is preferred but not required.
  


• Knowledge of local area and attractions is required.
  


• PC proficiency is required.
  


• Must be an organized, motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  


• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  


• Physical Requirements: Stairs are a part of the building structure; therefore, climbing stairs is mandatory. Processing of paperwork requires visual observation. Occasional lifting/carrying of supplies of up to 30 pounds.
