Data Entry Clerk - Sheraton Properties - Palm Desert, CA





The Data-Entry Associate is responsible for processing sales, reservations, cancellations, reschedules and confirmation for vacation packages. Assist with all mail-room functions, including new offers, thank you and confirmation letters. Responsible for filing, auditing and running reports.

Perform all Data-Entry functions to include information input for booking package sales, activating, arrival dates, capturing input for confirmation numbers and noting package pricing and payments.

Review and audit all work flow to maintain accurate input into all DE systems to include Target and Galaxy. Volume of productivity and accuracy levels must be maintained to department standards.

Process all cancellations and re-schedules according to company policies and departmental approvals. Alert supervisory staff of any issues or of an increase in cancellation volume.

Maintain an accurate and efficient filing system for all hard transaction copy. Assist as needed with mail room requirements for offer and thank you and confirmation letters.

Requirements


One (1) to Three (3) years Data-Entry or related experience required.

Excellent PC Skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access with the ability to learn new software programs.

Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proofreading and Problem Resolution Skills.

Working Conditions, Hazards, and Physical Demands: Processing and analysis of paperwork requires visual observation abilities. Verbal communication necessary for communication of essential job functions. Stairs may be part of future building structures; therefore, climbing stairs is mandatory. Able to lift small packages of at least thirty (30) pounds.
