Public Area Attendant - Arrive Palm Springs - Palm Springs, CA





Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the building including grounds and fixtures by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Take every opportunity to provide friendly and courteous service to our guest

  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant and bar, hallways, public restrooms, pool area, pathways and other areas of the hotel.

  • Performs various cleaning and maintenance activities to include sweeping and mopping all tile surfaces, polish as necessary all floor space, and cleaning glass.

  • Deliver items to guests as requested such as iron and board, extra towels, etc.

  • Check and replenish your supplies and cleaning tools.

  • Follow procedures for entering and leaving guest room.

  • Report all maintenance needs to Supervisor.

  • Monitors building and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment.

  • Follows all written and verbal instructions.

  • Cleans rest rooms and restocking supplies as needed.

  • Disposal of trash in designated areas.

  • Maintains all equipment to include:

  • vacuum cleaners

  • trash cans

  • mop buckets

  • cleaning supplies

  • Ensures security of building during and after completed jobs and reports any security violations to management.

  • Reports and repairs emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazards immediately.

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.

  • Assists Room Attendants as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:


High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior maintenance experience helpful.


Environment:


Outdoors 75% of 8 hour shift. Working in the restaurant, poolside, guest corridors and guest rooms.
